My first real attempt at trying to capture the Milky Way. Due to my limited field of view (27mm on a crop sensor) I wasn't really able to include any landscape of interest without losing a lot of the good stuff of the galaxy arm. I've got to learn about proper post-processing of these types of shots as well (just kinda fumbled my way through this for a quick and dirty job). Most tutorials I've found are for Lightroom, but I "only" have Photoshop. I created the "lightspeed" effect by carefully zooming the camera in as I exposed the shot.
My next gripe is the high ISO noise from my older Nikon D7000. Wouldn't mind an upgrade...
